Launch Canada Competition

Launch Canada is a national student rocketry competition where university and college teams design, build, and launch rockets, competing in categories from basic COTS propulsion to advanced hybrid engines. It fosters innovation, industry connections, and hands-on aerospace experience.

Looking Ahead to LC2025

ACR’s mission is to create the best rockets possible, showing our skills and innovation while improving our team’s abilities and representing Algonquin College.

With the lessons learned from this experience, ACR is now focused on launching on time for the 2025 competition. We are actively improving our funding strategies, enhancing our technical capabilities, and building a more robust team to ensure we can successfully compete.

We remain committed to participating in future competitions, including Launch Canada’s Advanced Category and the Spaceport America Cup.

Despite this setback, we have used 2024 as a learning experience to strengthen our team, refine our engineering processes, and secure better financial support.
